The programmes MATH-AmSud 2019 and STIC-AmSud 2019: are aimed at researchers from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, to strengthen collaboration and create networks in mathematics (MATH-AmSud) and Information and Communication Science and Technology (STIC-AmSud), for joint projects through the mobility of investigators.
The Regional Programmes MATH-AmSud and STIC-AmSud are initiatives of the French cooperation (French Ministry for Foreign Affairs) and counterparts from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, aimed to promote and strengthen the collaboration and to create networks of research and development in the field of mathematics (MATH-AmSud) and in the field of Information and Communication Science and Technology (STIC-AmSud), for the realisation of joint projects through the mobility of investigators.
The call for proposals is open to research and development projects, in all topics related to mathematics, and including at least two participating countries of the South American region and at least one team of French scientists.
The aim of the program is to implement joint projects in order to promote and strengthen collaboration and creation of networks of research and development in the field of information and communications technologies (ICT’s). The program carries out call for proposals from which are selected and supported research and development projects in the ICT area, that include a potential transfer of innovation at regional level, throughout the funding of the researcher’s mobility. The approved projects have a duration of two years and involve at least two countries of the South American region and one or more team(s) of French scientists.

Critérios de elegibilidade
- Any researcher from public or private research units or laboratories, linked to institutions of higher education, research organisations or companies may apply for projects;
- Each project must involve at least one French research group and at least two research groups belonging to two of the South American countries which participate in the programme;
- Brazilian researchers must also present their project to CAPES on the website of the program, according the established previsions in the bases published on its website.;
- The International Coordinator of the project must also send a version .pdf in English of the proposal through the application platform, including the CVs of the proposal participants, to the Secretariat of this Program.
